Victoria Barnett is the author of For the Soul of the People: Protestant Protest Against Hitler (New York: Oxford University Press, 1998) and Bystanders: Conscience and Complicity During the Holocaust (Westwood, CT: Greenwood Press, 2000). She also served as editor of the revissed English translation of Eberhard Bethge's Dietrich Bonhoeffer: A Biography (Minneapolis: Fortress Press, 2000). She is a consultant to the Church Relations Department of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.
